coach sylvie rosenbaum
Sylvie Rosenbaum is bringing over 25 years of coaching experience, a lifelong passion for the sport, and an unwavering dedication to each athlete she mentors. Caring, patient, and deeply student-focused, Coach Sylvie believes that gymnastics is far more than a business—it is a platform to help children overcome fears, discover confidence, and pursue their personal best in a supportive and joyful environment.
Born and raised in France, Sylvie developed a love for gymnastics and dance at a young age. She trained and competed for more than 15 years, reaching Level 10 at the Grenoble Gymnastics School Academy and later competing collegiately at Stendhal University. At just 17, she began coaching at the Grenoble Gymnastics School Academy, where she realized her dream of becoming a professional gymnastics coach and eventually a gym owner.
In 2001, Coach Sylvie moved to the United States and began teaching French for Fairfax County and Prince William Public Schools while continuing to coach competitive gymnastics. Over the next two decades, she coached in multiple programs—including Ex-cel, JO/DP developmental, compulsory, and optional teams—along with a variety of recreational classes such as Ninja Warriors. She also served as a Head Coach for high school competitive gymnastics in both Fairfax County and Prince William County, leading numerous athletes to state qualification and podium finishes on vault and beam.
After more than 20 years of experience, Sylvie fulfilled her dream of opening OMEGA Gymnastics in Purcellville in the fall of 2026. Her goal is to provide expert training in a small-scale, deeply supportive environment where athletes of different ages and levels can train together while receiving the individualized attention they deserve. At OMEGA, the priority is quality over quantity—a nurturing environment where each child is known, valued, and supported.
Her mission is simple: to preserve each child’s love for gymnastics while helping them reach their full potential and preventing burnout. She strives to know every athlete personally—both recreational and competitive—so every child feels like part of a true gymnastics family.
